The Clubhouse Afterschool program provides childcare for children in grades K-5, ages 5-12. Only Oak Park residents are eligible for this program. Clubhouse serves students from all eight District 97 elementary schools.

Clubhouse staff pick children up immediately after school and escort them to the nearest Park District Center. During the Clubhouse program, children participate in a variety of structured and unstructured activities. Indoor and outdoor learning experiences feature fun recreational activities, such as group games and sporting activities, as well as time to relax, read, do homework, and participate in quiet activities such as arts and crafts and table games. An after school snack will be provided each day.
Each D97 elementary school is served by a Park District Center:
- Carroll Center serves Lincoln students
- Longfellow Center serves Longfellow students
- Barrie Center serves Irving students
- Dole Center serves Whittier students
- Fox Center serves overflow Lincoln students
- Andersen Center serves Hatch School students
- Stevenson Center serves Beye students
- Austin Gardens serves Holmes students
- Field Center serves Mann students
Registration Details
2027-2028 Registration Information
The 2027-2028 priority registration will open to all current Clubhouse families on Monday, Jan 18 at 8:30A. We will be accepting registration on a first come, first served basis. During the priority registration period you will be able to claim and hold your spot by making the $100 non-refundable registration payment.
Priority registration will close on Thursday, Jan 21 at 5:00P and open registration will begin for all Oak Park residents on Saturday, Jan 23 at 8:30A. During the open registration period you will be able to claim and hold your spot by making the $100 non-refundable registration payment as well as the first month’s payment.
The Clubhouse Afterschool program provides childcare for children in grades K-5, ages 5-12. Only Oak Park residents are eligible for this program. Clubhouse serves students from all eight District 97 elementary schools. The Clubhouse follows the D97 school-year calendar and meets on half days as well. Full days off of school are not included in the Clubhouse registration. The Clubhouse runs from 3:00-6:00P M, Tu, Th, F and 2:00-6:00P on W.

FAQs
We currently do not offer prorated weeks. If there are certain days your child will not attend, please inform the Site Supervisor.
Families should contact staff or WSSRA as early as possible so support needs can be reviewed. Advance notice helps ensure appropriate staffing and planning.
Please reach out to Program Supervisor or Program Coordinator directly, they will need to calculate the prorated refund and notify the Registration Manager.

Sites that normally walk to Clubhouse from school will be bussed on our Park District 15 passenger busses in inclement weather.
Yes, it will just be a longer day of Clubhouse on those days.
