Dog Park Permit Required for Dog Park Entry
Dog Park Passes are FREE for Oak Park Residents! LEARN HOW TO OBTAIN ONE BELOW.
Dog parks use a key card access system. Members must bring their permit card to access the parks. Dog parks are maintained and inspected by Park District staff. Dog owners, who are not in compliance with dog park rules and requirements, may be subject to fines as well as dismissal from dog park use.

Permit Fees
Residents: First Dog FREE • Second Dog FREE
Non-Residents: First Dog $20 • Second Dog $10
Key Card Deposit:Â A refundable $10 deposit is required when you obtain your permit.
Replacement Cards:Â If you lose your key card, you will lose your deposit and must pay a new $10 deposit for a replacement card.
Requirements
To apply for a Dog Park Permit, owners must:
- Send in application to above to  info@pdop.org.
- Provide proof of a valid Village dog license receipt in the village of your residency, including the license number.
- Provide proof of vaccinations for the current year, including Rabies, Distemper, Kennel Cough/Bordetella, Para-influenza and Parvovirus are required.
- Provide proof of a negative fecal test for intestinal parasites within the last year must also be provided at the time of registration.
Permits applications and required documentation listed in the paragraph above can be emailed to info@pdop.org. Once received, approved, and any applicable fees paid (New Customers Only & Non-Residents), your access card will be mailed to you.
Non-resident pass sales are limited to the first 200 purchasers in an annual period.
Permits are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
If you are visiting our dog parks, please bring your own bag to pick up after your dog!
