Description

The Park District’s smallest park, Wenonah Park, designed for ages 2-5, features a car and truck theme! Kids can full up their gas tank, learn about traffic safety, play in the sand, climb in the VW bug and much more.

History

This playground was acquired in 1962 and is named for the adjacent street. Improvements completed in 2010 included replacement of the playground equipment, installation of resilient rubber surfacing, new benches, walkway, drinking fountain, trash receptacles, ornamental fencing and landscaping.
